Fulton Earns Key Small-Business Endorsement Lansing, MI—The election campaign of Elizabeth Fulton (R) received a boost today with an endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the state’s leading small-business advocacy group. Fulton is running for election in Senate District 19. Charlie Owens, state director of the 15,000-member Michigan chapter of NFIB, also indicated that the group would be directly communicating the endorsement of Fulton to the association’s many members residing in the district. “We have a very thorough review process that includes candidate questionnaires, voting record analysis, and personal interviews. After completing this process, we have determined that Elizabeth Fulton is the clear ‘small-business candidate’ in this race,” Owens said. “Elizabeth has demonstrated a clear understanding of the issues that are important to the overall health of small business in our state, particularly with regard to business tax reform and regulatory relief. We wish Elizabeth success in the upcoming election and we look forward to working with her to enact common-sense small-business legislation.” Elizabeth Fulton is employed by the Battle Creek Public Schools and is a small business owner in Battle Creek. She has two children and two grandchildren. The 19th District State Senate Seat includes all of Calhoun County and the vast majority of Jackson County.
